A converted truck once lived in by Leonard Knight, creator of the homemade structure called Salvation Mountain near Niland, California on the Salton Sea coast. He was inspired during a hot air balloon trip with his son to live in this place and build a monument to god. He spent most of his adult life there and passed away in his late 80s a few years ago. We visited him during camping trips many times and you would often see his son visiting from LA with supplies to help him live in this harsh desert environment.
Shot on film with a 35mm camera and hand developed.
